Eagles Split Doubleheader

L.A. Mission softball takes one in doubleheader against Glendale. 

In game one, Eagles struggle offensively scoring just one run off four hits. The Vaqueros capitalize off Eagle mistakes scoring seven runs off eight hits.

The final score, 7-1 Glendale. 

In game two, Eagle softball would not go down without a fight. They found their offense, scoring ten runs on thirteen hits. Saraina Cruz boasting a 5-5 effort with a triple, while Andrea Contreras adds to the damage with a triple and homerun. Mia Lopez and Naomi Benevidez add with a triple and double of their own. 

Naomi goes the distance pitching all seven innings, allowing only two runs on six hits. The 10-2 Eagle victory makes her conference record 1-0.

The Eagles now 2-1 in conference are back at it Thursday, March 16 away at L.A. Valley 2:30 p.m.
