Eagles Stay Unbeaten After Scoreless Draw at Mt. SAC

The Los Angeles Mission College men's soccer team extended its unbeaten start to the 2025 season with a gritty 0–0 road draw against perennial powerhouse Mt. San Antonio College. In a match defined by physical play and defensive discipline, neither side was able to break through despite 90 minutes of intense action.

 First-Half Stalemate

From the opening whistle, both teams looked to establish control in midfield, but quality chances were few and far between. Mission pressed high early, while Mt. SAC looked to exploit space in transition.

Defensive lines for both squads held strong, with the Eagles limiting the Mounties to minimal looks on goal. Mission's midfield trio worked tirelessly to break up passing lanes, but the physicality of the match began to show as yellow cards were issued to Diego Ceja, Cristopher Romero, and Jeff Jaimes before the halftime whistle.

 Defensive Grind in the Second Half

The second half followed the same pattern — stretches of physical midfield play, timely clearances from both back lines, and very few opportunities inside the penalty area. Mt.
