Softball Player of the Week- Week 3

For the week of February 9th – February 14th

Melinda Alcantar

Went 4 for 6 with an RBI, 3 runs scored, 4 doubles and 2 walks against Chaffey and Oxnard College.  Melinda finished the week with a .666 Batting average. In the game vs Chaffey College Melinda came up big in the top of the 7^th inning with a single to right field that tied the game The Eagles would prevail to win the game in extra innings 7-6.  This is Melinda’s 2^nd Player of the Week Selection.
