Bio
Hi, I'm Natascha, I'm 18 years old and I'm an international student from Brazil. I finished high school in 2015 and started college back there, where I studied International Relations for 3 semesters, because my dream is to be a diplomat. I came to the U.S. in August 2017 to improve my English, to have an experience living abroad, and to learn how to deal with challenging situations, away from my family and friends.

I've practiced sports for my whole life. From 4 to 16 years old I practiced artistic rollerskating in a competitive level. In 2013 my solo performance led me to a first place finish in the two National Championships. In 2015 me and my team were champions of the South American Championship, which qualified us for the World's Championship in Colombia. After my career as a rollerskater ended, I started playing Beach Tennis, a new sport that is very popular in Brazil.

During my free times, I usually went for a run with my dad, who is my inspiration. Back in the 1970s, as a High School international student in Pennsylvania, he was a Cross Country athlete, and nowadays he runs half marathons. The opportunity to be part of the LAMC Cross Country Team is amazing, it challenges me to push myself to my limit, and I believe that this experience is helping me to become not only a better athlete, but also a better person.
