L.A. Mission Cross Country Hits the Course With Heart and Hustle
With determination in every stride and Mission pride on full display, the Los Angeles Mission College cross country team laced up and hit the course this past weekend. Competing against some of the strongest programs in the region, our Eagles showed grit, growth, and a glimpse of what’s to come.
Men's 4-Mile Open Race Recap
With nearly 100 runners in the field, the men's 4-mile race was packed with speed and strategy. While Mission didn't place as a team, five Eagle runners represented proudly in the tough field.

Eduardo Armenta led the way for L.A. Mission, finishing in 49th place with a time of 25:41 — a strong effort in his first collegiate season.

Mesac Enamorado followed with a 73rd-place finish in 28:17, showing great endurance over the second half of the race.

Justin Thompson (88th), Kenny Rodriguez (89th), and Santiago Gutierrez (90th) rounded out Mission's top five finishers.
Despite the competition, the Mission men held their heads high and continue to build momentum and experience with each meet.
�� Women's 5,000-Meter Open Race Recap
The women's squad also showed heart in the 5K race, running strong against schools like Canyons and Bakersfield.

Leading the team was Jaqueline Reyes, who crossed the line in 25:52, good for 29th place overall.

Right behind her, Angeles Ledesma (36th), Isabela Zavala (40th), Abby Valencia (47th), and Yamile Baez (48th) battled through a hot, fast-paced race and finished together as a tight group.
Their determination and team-first mentality were on full display, and it's clear this group is only getting stronger with each competition.
